“Jeffery this isn’t going to work… you are not going to smooth talk your way out of answering me.”
“Would I do that?”
*sigh* “He didn’t deserve you Rose… he couldn’t have made you happy.”
“It wasn’t for you to decide. We’re talking about my life here Jeffery… ‘my’ life… not yours… ‘mine’.”
“He isn’t a priest… he’s a pastor… pastors can still marry…”
*laughing* “You… as a pastor’s wife? Oh that’s rich.”

“You’ve spoke to him… hmmm… that explains the sudden interest in the past. What has he said to you?”
“Oh no… after all the crap you’ve put us through, I’m not telling you anything.”
“There… there’s more?”
“Did I say that?”
“Go home to your daughter, Rose… go back to your life where you are happy.”
“That’s just it, Jeffery… I wasn’t happy. I haven’t been happy since he left me… and you took that away from me by keeping his whereabouts to yourself. I would have gone to that ministry to find him… I would have been the pastor’s wife and I would have been happy… but thanks to you and your warped sense of duty… I’m bitter and alone.”
“Daddy… Aunt Rose… dinner is ready…”

“You're talking to that boy, I'm telling Mommy!”
“Crap, I gotta go… I'll be there…”
“Listen, Punk, stay out of this. He’s my best friend.”
“But Mommy said…”
“But why?”
“Just because…”
“But why?”
“Just because…”
“But why?”

Vewy interwesting ...
Awwww the big brother syndrome of trying to protect the little sister. I hated that growing up. Jeffery just tell her the whole truth. We all want to know.
Jeffery, you are such an a**hole. I don't care how much the producer and writers like you, you are an a**hole. Neil's trying to explain to an eight-year-old why it's okay to break the rules? Good luck.
Parents never learn. If you forbid your child to see/speak to someone, you only make his desire to see/speak to that person increase!
Go Neil. Don't let yo momma keep you from your friends.
